Development of a Library Information System

The proposed system was to create the members of the Library and keep the records of the books set according to the setting of the books in the shelves of the library. Also which member issued which book and also the status of the books.

Patients Record System

This was the system for the patients who get admitted in the hospital. For example when a patient gets admitted which doctor will be treating him, which room or ward and bed number will be allotted to him, what will be his Admission and Discharge date and all the data related to that patient will be maintained.

Field Force Automation System for the Marketing Department.

The proposed system was the automation for the marketing employees who work on the field and do marketing for the products of the company and they report back to their Senior Sales Managers through Courier on the daily basis. Every marketing employee has his own territory and Zone and he travels from one city to another in his zone for marketing the products. At the end of month he claims his expenses. This all process has been automated.

E-HRM for the HR-Department

This purpose of this project was to maintain the data of each every Employee of the company. For example Employee’s Bio Data, his status and daily attendance etc.
Every employee manually marks his attendance on the reception when he enters the company. That manual attendance is then entered in the system against that employee.

And when the director of the company asks for the weekly attendance the proposed system generates reports of attendance Employee wise, Department wise and from one date to another date.

Vaccination Verification Software for Saudi Embassy

There are two phases for this Project.
(i): Windows Application
(ii): Web Based Application.
Windows Based Application includes Data Entry module for the Applicant going for Umra or Hajj and a Bar coded Report is generated for that Applicant.
Web Based Module is for Embassy, which uses Bar code reader to read the Data from the Report, generated and he’s verified via web.

Feedback System for the web site of the company

This was a small project for the existing web site of the company.
Simply to generate the Email to feedback the company.

Invoicing System for Media Department

This Project was supposed to handle the invoices of the media department of the company. The media department is responsible for the printing of the covers of the products. And they purchase the material for the printing press and record them manually.

Typing Test Application

This project was like the Typing Tutor for the Government employees who take typing test for the post of the Data Entry. The difference between the Typing Tutor and this application is that whole employees’ data is centralized on a single server in an XML file whereas in the typing tutor every employee had to save the data on the same system where he was taking test. So there would be no data centralization.

National Internship Program

In order to better equip our nation's graduates for their future career the Government of Pakistan has introduced a revolutionary National Internship Program where fresh unemployed graduates from all over the country will get one year hands-on experience with government organizations nationwide and emerge as an even better human resource for the country's booming economy.
All applications received either on-line or by post have been sent to HEC for verification of degree, Roll Number, Registration Number, Name of University and year of passing. HEC is carrying out the verification in close coordination with all recognized Universities and degree awarding institutions.

Property Tax Calculation System for CDA Islamabad

Capital Development Authority (CDA), is a public benefit corporation responsible for providing municipal services in the Islamabad city (Capital city of Pakistan), established on June 14, 1960, first by an executive order issued on June 24, 1960 entitled the Pakistan Capital Regulation, to be superseded by the CDA ordinance issued on June 27, 1960.
The owner of the property (e.g. House) pays tax annually. CDA had a problem calculating property taxes and also checking that how much a particular owner has paid tax and how much he has surcharge etc which was very time consuming for the calculation.
The proposed application is useful for the tax calculation of the property.

1): A simple web sign-in using MS Access/ASP.NET?


It needs to display:
* Sign-in |Forget password | Register OR
* Welcome <USER>| Sign-out
And it has

* Email activation (after registration)
* Forget password sends reminder email of password
* Uses cookies so that log-in is automatic if not logged out previously (like many websites)

2): Prototype of a discussion system

The system is based around discussion. A user logs in (functionality already implemented) and is presented with a view that displays the discussion they have created and those they have been invited too.

Users can create new discussions (adds a record to tblDiscussions) and invite users to join in (functionality not needed, will complete manually in the tblDiscAccess). Only users that have access (a record in the tblDiscAccess table) can see the discussion, obviously the created gets given access at the time of setting up the discussion.
Once a discussion is active it appears on the main page. From there the user can enter the discussion in individual mode. This mode only allows the user to see the objective of the discussion and their comments not those of others. If the user is getting stuck for ideas they can request a tag or a title of one of the other users comments (if none available text should say none available). The user can add their own comments to the discussion on this page (populating the tblComments table with a record).
When the user is done they progress to the group mode where they can add further comments or comment on other people’s comments (adds a record to the tblComments table and also populates the comParetID field with the comID of the previous persons comments.

The detail and ability to comment on a comment are available in another page, accessible by clicking on the comment.

-View users comments in a discussion
-Add users comments to a discussion
-Fetch tag from other users comments

3): A Windows based application for a “Car Auction dealership”.

Background:
Your Company has been contracted to build a Car Auction system that manages Auctions of Cars for a dealership. The system has four main parts.
1) a Security system that allows appropriate users limited access to the system.
2) a System that allows employees of the car dealership to create a car auction
3) a System that allows employees of the car dealership to manage auctions
4) a reporting system that allows several reports to be run.
